Ready to Hang is a community-wide art show that brings together artists of all stripes for an art sale and party, building our creative community.​

The 2026 Ready to Hang Call for Entry will open on September 1, 2026. The theme will be announced on June 1, 2026. The 2026 pop-up event will take place on Saturday, November 21st. To stay informed, sign up for our newsletter at the top of this page.

​A pop up show of 350 individual artworks is open to all local artists for creations 12 inches by 12 inches in size. Ready to Hang presents a unique opportunity to see new works by our entire community of artists in one show.

Over the years the show has exhibited hundreds of local artists and visited by thousands people, and the numbers continue to grow!

Ready to Hang joins some of Santa Barbara’s most experienced artists with emerging artists, resulting in a vital source of support to our local creative community.

Parking: Parking is available after 5pm on weekdays, and all day Saturday and Sunday, at the school district parking lot across Ortega Street from the CAW. (On the corner of Garden & Ortega Streets.) Parking on the street is also generally plentiful after 5pm and on weekends. More parking info at sbcaw.org/parking.
